Men’s Beginners Yoga

Join Right Mate, in conjunction with Tim Oddie from Geelong City Yoga for a 4 week beginners Yoga course for men and experience the benefits of Iyenger Yoga. Suitable for all men, this course will offer participants the opportunity to experience the physical and mental benefits of Yoga with all ages and physical abilities welcome.

Yoga has so much to offer us all –  What is basically a movement based mindfulness practice, can help us physically, mentally and emotionally cope with the pressures of modern life.

Course Details

When:
Course 1 start:
Tuesday 3rd May, 1 session a week for 4 weeks
Course 2 start: Tuesday 14th June, 1 session a week for 4 weeks
Course 3 start: Tuesday 12th July, 1 session a week for 4 weeks

Where – Geelong City Yoga Level 1/46 Malop St, Geelong

Time – Every Tuesday for 4 weeks from the start date, 7pm-8pm in studio.

Cost – Fully Refundable $20 deposit (covers use of equipment).

This 4 week course is designed for absolute beginners. For men of all shapes, sizes and levels of fitness with no yoga experience. The use of props (chairs, blocks, belts and blankets) makes the poses/movements accessible for most people without a major disability regardless of age or physical condition. Detailed instruction and the ability to adapt the practice for individual needs means chronic injuries can be managed and maybe even relieved.

However our physicality is just the kick-off point. Through this practice you will feel not just more physically able but more emotionally centred and resilient. You will find the gains are certainly worth the effort. Every time!
